And The Reviews Are In...

I make it a point never to read reviews while I'm doing a show. Bad mojo. Did it once. Once. Their comments on my acting made me all self-conscious and screwed up my performance for the rest of the run. Not worth it.

But, I encourage you to read them. They sound very positive. Plus, leave a review of your own if you've gone to see it. I promise I won't read 'em until October.

So, since you refuse to email me back, I ask again - do I need to somehow buy a ticket in advance for Saturday night, or can I just buy one at the door?

Can't wait to see you in action

Congratulations on what sounds like a very sexy and and successful show! I wish I could be there to revel with you in the adrenaline high of a performace well received! I hope you are on cloud 9!

Thanks, Dork, for the well-wishes. I hope the show is as good as they write it to be.

And, tell Kate: No e-mails doesn't mean no love. There's always love. I'm just bad at showing the love sometimes.

I know there's no lack of love, dear. And I'm so glad that I finally got the chance to see you onstage - you were wonderful, which of course I knew you would be. It was a fantastic show, I just wished it was longer! Hope the rest of the run goes just as fabulously.

Thanks, Kate. And thanks for the violet. That was our best audience to date. This last matinee was below the mark. An early technical boo-boo, but something someone may have gotten canned over. It wasn't a disastrous show by any means, but that's live theater.

Kick ass at school.
